Apply for the 2013 CILIP/IFLA Aspire Award
IFLA and CILIP launched the Aspire Award in memory of CILIP's Chief Executive Bob McKee, who died in August 2010. The Award supports Bob's strong interests in developing new professionals and strengthening international relationships by providing bursaries for new professionals to attend CILIP and IFLA conferences.

IFLA WLIC 2013 - Grant for ASEAN Delegates
Thanks to generous donations from Overdrive, HP Enterprise Group, FotoHub, High-End Communications Pte Ltd and NCS Pte Ltd, IFLA and the National Committee are pleased to announce a grant to sponsor approximately 60 delegates from ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) countries.

Keynote and Plenary speakers announced
IFLA is pleased to announce that the IFLA WLIC 2013 National Committee has selected Ambassador Chan Heng Chee as Keynote Speaker at its Opening Session and Parag Khanna and Cherian George as Plenary Speakers.

During the Closing Session in San Juan, Puerto Rico on 18 August, IFLA President Ellen Tise officially announced Singapore as the host location for the 2013 World Library and Information Congress.
